How do I change my phone layout?
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Device profiles dictate the layout of the buttons on the phone. Most of the time, a device profile will be assigned to the whole company so everyone has the same layout. If you need a custom layout, follow these instructions.
Device profiles are typically set for the entire location. Changes in the main device profile will affect everyone that is using that profile. If you want a separate layout, create a new device profile and assign that to your device.

Available Button Types
Section titled “Available Button Types”Phone Line
There needs to be at least one phone line. Having multiple phone lines allows you to swap between calls. You can switch what line you are on, putting the first person on hold. This can be more convenient than parking lots, especially if people are used to old analog phones.
Label: [[user]].[[firstName]] - [[user]].[[voice.voIPNumber]]
Value: 1
Parking Lot
These act as universal holds where you can keep people that can be picked up by others, or if you needed to be able to use your phone, or if you wanted to check if a user was available before transferring them over. These need to be created elsewhere before you can use them.
Label: “Park 1” (Increment the number by 1 for each park you add)
Select the parking lot created previously and the appropriate stall. It should match up with the label you wrote. i.e. if you put a label as “Park 1”, you should select Stall 1.
Monitor User
This is referencing another user that you can press a button or touch the screen and it will initiate a transfer to that person.
Label: [[firstName]]
From the drop down menu, select the user you want to add.
Speed Dial
Speed dials have multiple possible functions. Besides just calling a specific number, they can be utilized alongside Internal Numbers, to call a specific callflow, or ring group.
Label: “Name of Person, ring group, callflow, or action”
Speed Dial Number: Add a 1 before entering in their phone number.
Callflow/Ring Group: Reference the internal number you have previously created that links to the callflow or ring group. Note that the callflow the internal number references must be created before hand. For example, if you want a speed dial to call out to a specific ring group, you will create a callflow that has that ring group as the first entry, then select that callflow from the internal number you create. This number will be the value you will enter for the speed dial.
Toggle
To enable quick enabling/disabling of a toggle, you can create a button that references your previously created toggle from the drop down menu. Toggles are most often utilized in a callflow to dictate the flow of the call.
Important Note
Section titled “Important Note”Provisioning a device while it is being used may cause the provision (update) to fail. Retry when the phone is no longer in use.
