How do I change my hold music?

Universal Hold Music

To apply hold music across your entire organization:

1. Select Settings from the top toolbar
2. Under Account, chooseLocations
3. Select your location
4. In the left pane, select Voice5. ClickEdit in the Voice Preferences pane
5. From the Hold Preferences dropdown, select your desired hold music
6. Click Save

Custom Hold Music

To upload and use your own audio files as hold music:

1. Upload your music file first
2. Go to Settings → Voice → Hold Music3. Click the**+ Add** button
3. Name your playlist
4. Optionally toggle “Play Playlist as Stream” (allows real-time music rather than starting from the beginning each time)
5. Click Save7. Select your playlist and click**+ Add** in the Hold Music Playlist pane
6. Choose your uploaded file from the dropdown
7. Click Save10. Return toSettings → Account → Locations →your location→ Voice
8. Edit Voice Preferences and select your custom hold music from the dropdown
9. Click Save

Ring Group Hold Music

1. Navigate to Settings → Voice → Ring Groups
2. Select the ring group to modify
3. Click Edit in the Ring Group Controls pane
4. Choose hold music from the dropdown
5. Click Save

User Hold Music

1. Go to Settings → Account → Users2. SelectVoice from the left pane
2. Click Edit in the Extension Information pane
3. Select hold music from the dropdown
4. Click Save

Device Hold Music

1. Access Settings → Account → Devices
2. Select your device
3. Choose Voice from the left pane
4. Click Edit in the Device Line Info pane
5. Select hold music from the dropdown
6. Click Save

Custom Voicemail Messages

1. Go to Settings → Voice → Inboxes
2. Select your inbox
3. Choose Voicemail Settings from the left pane
4. Click edit in the Greetings Settings pane
5. Select a file from the Greeting Prompt dropdown or type custom text for text-to-speech conversion
6. If using text-to-speech, click the play button to cache the file
7. Click Save
